CLEANER EFFICIENCY

The Perform & Protect range reduces the health risks associated with dust inhalation such as silicosis or chronic obstructive lung disease (COLD). The Perform & Protect range features advanced dust management solutions including HEPA certified M Class extractors (0.1% dusts with maximum allowable concentrations (MAC) ≥ 0.1 mg/m³) with automatic filter cleaning, shrouds, hollow drill bits, as well as universal extractors compatible with all brands of tools.

A STEADY HAND

Prolonged vibration exposure leads to common disorders like carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) and white finger (VWF). Our Active Vibration Control features include counterbalance systems, floating handles and more to considerably lower levels of triaxial vibrations. This helps deliver up to 50% lower vibrations compared to standard model power tools as measured against EN 60745 1:2006. Correctly used, tools in the Perform & Protect range ensure user exposure is kept below the Exposure Action Value limit. Tools recording a 5m/s² vibration can be used up to 2 hours/day to reach the exposure action value (EAV) and up to 8 hours/day to reach the exposure limit value (ELV). Increased time and comfort of use means you and your team can perform heavy-duty tasks for longer with greater safety.

POWER IS NOTHING WITHOUT CONTROL

High speed, high-performance tools can jam when cutting or drilling risking injury to the user and tool. Our Perform & Protect range features integrated, advanced torque control technology as standard.

Anti-rotation E-Clutch systems detect rotational motion and minimise any sudden torque reaction, while electronic Kickback Brakes in our grinders automatically shut off power when a pinch, stall or bind up occurs. LED indicators and overload sensors also feature.
